Improving care, the Daza way.
Creating a safe living environment: for Daza, that is the ultimate challenge. Since 1999 we have been developing and producing wireless solutions for fall prevention, wandering prevention and personal alarms. Privacy-friendly, easy to use and without physical restraint.

A concrete solution for falls.
Daza B.V. develops and produces electronic products for healthcare. The company was founded in 1999 by Carlo Danen and Wim van der Zande to offer a concrete solution to the number of falls among older people, which rises every year.
Encouraged by the good results, the recognition from the care sector and the various awards the system has won, Daza has grown into a market leader. When it comes to preventing or detecting dangerous situations for older people (including those living with dementia), Daza is the right partner.
More than 25 years of better care.
At Daza, innovation is an ongoing process. A selection of our milestones.
Daza is founded in Roosendaal and starts developing the Optiscan, now a household name in care. It has won awards and even influenced legislation.
The wireless seat cushion with stand-up detection alerts caregivers when someone leaves their chair.
A reliable emergency call system without major installations: the Pager2 communicates directly with the alarm transmitters.
After intensive collaboration with users, the popular Optiseat has been renewed.
Daza continues as Daza B.V., part of Human Protection, keeping its own name and team. Stronger together for safety in care.
What we stand for.
Thorough analysis
We analyse the problems in the care sector and filter real needs for feasibility.
Humane care
Privacy-friendly products without cameras that fit a humane approach to care: the alternative to physical restraint.
Less workload
The right alert at the right time, so caregivers can spend their time where it is needed.
Continuous innovation
Even when a solution is not immediately available, we stay involved and keep developing.
Prevention can spare everyone involved unnecessary suffering. That is what we remain committed to.
Daza
Restraining residents is often unnecessary.
Falls in nursing and care homes cause a great deal of human suffering and often unnecessarily high costs. Because of the high workload, residents are still restrained too often.
After a number of serious incidents, a covenant was signed in the Netherlands in 2011 to prevent physical restraint in care facilities as much as possible. Daza fully supports this, offers several effective alternatives and keeps developing its products to reduce restraint even further.
Voor wie zijn onze systemen bedoeld?
Wireless resident safety for all of care: from nursing home to hospital and small-scale living.

Care facilities
Many Daza products originate in dementia care. Many thousands of sensors are in use in care facilities, assisted living complexes, sheltered housing and small-scale living arrangements. Daza has been market leader in this sector for years.

Hospitals
Hospitals are also discovering how much it can ease the workload, for example on neurology wards or a children's ward where constant supervision is helpful. Many academic and regional hospitals use Daza.

Mental health care
For calls for help, wandering or situations where assistance is needed quickly, Daza sensors are increasingly combined with a portable pager: less workload without compromising on quality.

Small-scale and on the move
With the Pager2 you immediately have a call system without installation. Ideal for small-scale living units, care farms or when you travel with a group.
